Plymouth sits at the entrance to the Shenandoah Valley, and many couples there marry right in the vines. Outdoor ceremony spots can be a walk from the nearest outlet, so I plan power and placement with your coordinator and keep the setup tidy for photos with the hills behind you.
Historic venues in Jackson and Sutter Creek
Downtown Jackson and Sutter Creek have historic buildings, inns and halls that make warm, intimate reception spaces. Older rooms can be tight, and a single stage piano with compact sound fits where a big band would not.
Rehearsal dinners and winery parties
Not every booking is a wedding. Rehearsal dinners, wine-club events and anniversary parties across Amador all work well with live piano and vocals, with the guests' requests steering the set.
Who you are booking
I'm a former San Jose Sharks organist with more than 2,000 songs in my repertoire, so the request that comes from Grandpa and the one that comes from the bridal party both get played.
DJ, karaoke and dueling pianos
After dinner I can switch to DJ and MC for the dancing. My signature piano karaoke is a hit at after-parties, and if you want the whole room singing, the full Modern Dueling Pianos show brings a second piano and player.
Planning notes
Amador afternoons get hot in summer, so a later ceremony or a shaded piano spot helps everyone, including the instrument. Harvest season is beautiful and busy, so book early if you want a September or October Saturday.
