Music that matches the setting

Napa and Sonoma venues range from formal estate lawns to rustic barns. I'll read your plan and pick the right mix of jazz standards, classic love songs and modern pop, played in my own style, so it never sounds like a playlist.

One contact for the whole night

Along with solo piano and vocals, I offer DJ and MC services for the reception, plus karaoke for the after-party if your venue allows it. That means fewer vendors to coordinate.

Ceremony music

For the ceremony I play prelude music while guests arrive, your processional and bridal entrance, any special songs during the ceremony, and a celebratory recessional. Classical pieces, love songs and modern pop all work on piano, and I can sing a song during the ceremony if you want.

Cocktail hour on the terrace

Wine country cocktail hours are long and relaxed. I mix standards, soft rock and current songs, often with vocals, and take requests from guests as they come by the piano. This is a great time for parents and grandparents to hear their favorites.

Dinner and the reception

During dinner I keep it warm and low. For the reception I can DJ and MC, play live piano for the first dance, or bring in the full Modern Dueling Pianos show for a high-energy sing-along. Some couples love a short dueling set right after dinner, followed by the DJ for dancing.

Custom songs

I write and record custom songs, so if you want an original song for your entrance, first dance or a parent dance, we can make one together before the wedding.
