Wedding piano in Lodi & the Delta

Lodi weddings mean vineyard ceremonies, barrel-room dinners and receptions that run late. I play Lodi often, and I'll shape the music around your day: soft piano while guests find their seats, your processional arranged for piano and voice, then cocktail hour full of songs you both love.

Ceremony to last dance

Most Lodi couples book me for the ceremony and cocktail hour, then keep me on as DJ and MC for the reception, so one person handles every music cue. I can sing your first-dance song live and hand off to the dance mix right after.

Delta and riverside venues

Head out toward the Delta and the venues get more historic. One of my favorite solo weddings was at Grand Island Mansion in Walnut Grove: just me, the piano and a room that already sounds beautiful.

Want a bigger party?

If you'd rather turn the reception into a full sing-along, I can bring a second player for a dueling piano show through Modern Dueling Pianos.

Where you may have heard me

Around Lodi I play public nights at Stogies Lounge and Woodbridge Crossing, and I have played the Lodi Grape Festival stage. That local work keeps me in touch with what Lodi crowds love to hear, which carries straight into your reception.

Vineyard ceremonies

Lodi ceremony sites are often out in the vines with no indoor backup close by. I bring compact, weather-ready gear and plan where the piano goes so guests hear the music and you still get clean photos with the vineyard behind you. Prelude music starts about 20 to 30 minutes before the ceremony, and I time the processional to your wedding party's walk so the bride enters on the right moment of the song.

Cocktail hour and dinner

This is where live piano and vocals shine. Guests drift over to the piano, ask for songs, and the requests tell me what the room wants for the rest of the night. During dinner I keep the volume at a level where people can talk, then build up toward toasts and the first dance.

Reception, DJ and MC

When dinner is over, I switch to DJ and MC: grand entrance, toasts, cake cutting, bouquet toss and a packed dance floor. If you want something more interactive, the full Modern Dueling Pianos show turns the reception into a two-piano sing-along.

Questions

Do you need a piano at the venue?

No. I bring a professional stage piano and sound system. Outdoor vineyard ceremonies just need power within reach, or I can plan around it with you.

Can you learn a song for us?

Yes. Send me your processional, recessional and first-dance picks and I will arrange them for piano and voice.

How long do you play?

Packages range from a ceremony-only booking to the whole day. Most couples book ceremony through reception.

Can you coordinate with our planner?

Yes. Send me the timeline and I will work directly with your planner or venue coordinator.
